RULES

Motorsport is dangerous. Failure to adhere to any of the rules will lead to you been asked to leave the event. ALL riders MUST attend the riders and safety briefing prior to the start of the event.

Rider Rules

  • All riders must hold a current ACU licence or buy an ACU day licence at signing on. 

  • All riders must sign on before scrutineering

  • All riders must scrutineer before putting their bike in parc ferme. 

  • Correct numbers must be shown on all 3 sides of the bike, minimum height of 100mm. 

  • Transponder must be worn on right wrist.
  • ACU Gold or Silver stamped helmet must be worn.  
  • Helmet, Boots, Goggles and Safety Clothing must be worn. Short sleeves are prohibited. 
  • Do not ride the course backwards, wait for a marshal if there is a problem.
  • Course-cutting is NOT tolerated and will result in disqualification. 
  • BLUE TAPE = "Walking pace" through lap scoring. 
  • Do not over take in lap scoring. 
  • All fuel must be kept in the designated fueling area.
  • All riders MUST refuel their machines in the designated refueling area. 
  • Strictly NO smoking or children in the fueling area.  
  • Engines must be turned off when refueling.
  • Noisy bikes will not be tolerated.
  • Pressure washers are restricted and banned at forestry commission land of ALL NREC events. 
  • All tear offs are banned under ACU rules and regulations.
  • Riders are not allowed to change their bike during the event. 
  • Support crews must stay away from lap scoring area! 
  • Abusive behavior to any officers or riders will not be tolerated!
  • Juniors MUST have a lanyard fitted to their machines.
  • Parent/Guardian must sign for competitors under the age of 18. 
General Rules
  • Please take home all litter or put in a bin which is onsite!
  • Park your vehicle where NREC officials tell you too. 
  • Dogs must be kept on a lead at all times.
  • Children under 10 must be supervised. 
  • A spectator area will be provided, anyone that goes beyond this point is at their own risk. 
  • Abusive behavior to any official will result in exclusion. 
  • Championship points will be updated after each event and posted on the results page. 
 
Class Capacity
  • E1 2 stroke - up to 125cc
  • E1 4 stroke - up to 250cc
  • E2 2 stroke - over 125cc to 250cc two stroke
  • E2 4 stroke - over 250cc to 450cc four stroke
  • E3 anything over 250cc two stroke and over 450cc four stroke.
